No, it is a completely painless treatment. The patient may feel a slight pulsation or a sensation of activation in the area, but it causes no discomfort and is comfortably performed over clothing.

Although it depends on the condition, most protocols consist of between 6 and 8 sessions. Many patients report significant improvement in pain reduction after the first 3 sessions.
